It's only been a week and a half since Cuba, and it already seems like a distant memory. I have to admit, I saw Cuba as a Resort/All Inclusive Tourist. In other words, Cuba was a vacation, and not much more than a beach and an ocean for us. Regrettably. I normally don't travel this way. This year, however, there wasn't time for research, and backpacks, and the road less travelled. I became one of them. Someone who books what's convenient, and spends the majority of their time in another land on the beach sipping colorful concoctions. Our one excursion, our one attempt at experiencing all that was Cuba, ended us up in a luxury bus with a tour guide who spoke Spanish and Russian (I purposely left out English) and hardly let us out of the bus. We did, however, have a very relaxing week. The weather was perfect, the taste and smell of the ocean air was just as I remembered, and the time with my husband away from work, television, and internet was everything I needed.

I did have a chance to take a few photos. After many requests, here are some of them...
