I had a really great evening on an engagement shoot with Harv and Jenesa. Just HAD to post this pic. It's not technically great, but I just find it hilarious. Can you tell I'm not a country girl? I was so very entertained by this!!! Enjoy, and goodnight!!!

James and Ashley

May 5, 2009 // Engagement

Sometimes, I have no words. I spent a great afternoon with James and Ashley, in some of the most random places in Winkler. I'm sure there were times where they were thinking "where is this crazy girl taking us?", but they didn't make a peep! I had such a fun day, and have no words to describe the love that I saw between these two. Nothing can quite do it justice. I really can't wait to photograph their wedding! I'll let the photographs do the talking...

BJ and Alicia

March 18, 2009 // Engagement

I met up with BJ and Alicia on a chilly afternoon in Winnipeg. The forecast had called for +1, but ended up being more like -10. These two were real troopers though, and put up with me without any complaints. Thank goodness for command start and a car to warm up in between locations!!! Here's a few shots from their engagement session. Can't wait for warmer weather at their upcoming June wedding!

Mike and Jacquie - Engagement

Jacquie and I have been corresponding for quite some time now, as she booked me for their July wedding last Spring. We met briefly at a mutual friends wedding in October (Hi Carly!), but hadn't really had the chance to chat until today. Jacquie has this smile that makes you feel like you've known her for years. It was so comfortable today, meeting her and Mike, I felt like we could be old friends. I had an incredible time capturing these two, they were so cooperative and fun, the 3 hours we spent together seemed like minutes. Thanks for being such troopers today you two, I hope your toes have warmed up, mine still haven't!!!

I'm sure you all will recognize this wall from my photo shoot with Darka! I couldn't help but use it again, I really liked the way Jacquie's pink scarf popped against the aqua!!! So fun!

I've been kicked out of this parkade before when I was in school, but today we had the place all to ourselves. Love how it turned out!!!!

Bryan and Mandy

July 8, 2008 // Engagement

I met Bryan and Mandy through my Prairie View friend Amanda. Seeing as she was going to be a bridesmaid in their wedding, she referred them to me for wedding photos. It was great to meet them and get to know them a bit during the engagement shoot. We had a fun couple of hours in the Winnipeg Exchange District.
