Saskatoon may only be 800km's away, but sometimes it may as well be 8000. This is Kenley, my niece. I do not see nearly enough of her. Small as she may be, she's growing and changing so fast, and I feel like I am missing all of it. A photograph is capable of so many things, one of them being the ability to freeze time. I'm so thankful for the photographs my sister sends freezing all of those special moments so that I can share in them. Of course, I was more than happy to take my turn with her in front of my camera.

Here is Kenley at 15 months.

Ryan & Lauren

May 19, 2009 // Portrait / Wedding

I love a good wedding. I admit it, I am a sucker when it comes to all things love. I have anticipated this wedding longer than most. Two years ago at Ryan's best man Jay's wedding, Lauren told me that when she got engaged, she'd be calling me. She did not disappoint. It's been a long time coming. Some of us (*cough*... like me!) rush right to the alter as soon as we know we've found "the one". Others take their time and enjoy the journey.

On April 25th, in front of their closest family and friends, Ryan and Lauren were married. I was lucky enough to witness it.

Here's to the journey you've had, and the one that's yet to come!

Tiffany

Sunshine. Clear skies. The wind in our hair. Being outside WITHOUT a jacket. Tiffany and I had a lot to be happy about on this gorgeous day! Tiffany is done her first year of university. She is young, full of spunk, and has the whole world ahead of her. Who wouldn't be glowing?!?! This is her.

James and Ashley

May 5, 2009 // Engagement / Portrait

Sometimes, I have no words. I spent a great afternoon with James and Ashley, in some of the most random places in Winkler. I'm sure there were times where they were thinking "where is this crazy girl taking us?", but they didn't make a peep! I had such a fun day, and have no words to describe the love that I saw between these two. Nothing can quite do it justice. I really can't wait to photograph their wedding! I'll let the photographs do the talking...

Mandi

Mandi is one of the sweetest girls I know. She is always cheerful, always kind, and always the first to help someone out. I asked Mandi to help me out with some practice shots, and of course, she was quick to say yes. Thanks Mandi! You are beautiful inside and out!!!
